I would give it a rating of 2.5 stars out of 5. It was interesting and depicts the typicality in most cases of what goes on in a struggling family trying to raise a superstar.

The film is slow, boring, and the cast deserved better writing.

No chemistry from Boogie and his love interested. Story line was not believable. Boogie seems to be miscast. Basketball games needs more work. Overall it was ok to watch for free but I would be disappointed if I had to pay.
