As a New Yorker "In The Heights" is what we mean when we talk about representation. As native to the city of new york I saw my summer night represented in a way that spoke to the core of my being. The story reminds all of us of the struggle we all share and how we overcome and learn from our community. 2021 was perfect for In The Heights the film, it reminds all of us that New York ain't dead.

In the Heights was a beautiful film full of diverse performers and incredible music. The direction by Jon M. Chu was fantastic and I was completely enamored with all the sights on screen. Being a huge fan of the musical, I felt that this was a touching recreation that served the original so well. I laughed, cried, and cheered. I can’t wait to see it again on opening night.

I loved it! One of my favorite musicals, and the movie was an absolute blast. I absolutely adored the choreography.

Amazing movie. From music to design to acting. Just amazing.
