Everything I hoped it would be. Solid direction, a biting script, and Carey Mulligan was amazing. An incredible watch.

Very interesting plot I was confused at first I thought Cassie was the victim

Carey Mulligan has never been better! Oscar nominee for sure.\r\rBeautifully shot, perfectly acted and directed. \r\rI wish that more men in the film, other than Cassie's father Stanley and, to a lesser degree the attorney Jordan, had been portrayed in a more favorable light. It gives women the impression that no man can be trusted and they're all scumbags.

A terrific performance by Mulligan. The soundtrack choices were terrific and well placed in context the storyline. It brings a very serious subject to light without being disrespectful. It was not predictable.
