Overall, entertaining. Script was cheesy, acting was a little wooden, plot overly predictable- the only thing that saved it was Jason Mamoa and his humor

Unfortunately the best thing about the movie was the special effects and the comedy

It’s safe to write that most of us are not going to see AQUAMAN for Jason Mamoa acting skills. Going shirtless is Mamoa’s greatest talent. After Arthur discovers he is the heir to Atlantis. He is called on to protect Atlantis & the world. AQUAMAN is cheesy entertainment. But it’s way too long. The extra time is not dedicated to Mamoa’s body either. A 3 out of 5 rating
