I liked the movie

Really enjoyed the film. It was a unique to see a story everyone knows well told from a totally new viewpoint and offer insight into how events affected someone not one of Christ's original followers. A new twist on a well told tale.

I liked it the different take on the Resurrection. I was a cross between CSI and X Files...really enjoyed it!

Against my initial prejudices coming to this movie, I have to give Risen 4 stars. Something I don't hand out lightly. Many of the Christian films today have little content, weak story lines and barely passable acting. Risen has a surprisingly fresh take. This movie is engaging developing a completely plausible reaction to an astounding event in the life of a man both forced and compelled to find answers. The story and characters unfold rather than having conclusions forced upon you.
