Over-the-top, long, but good. Strayed from the book but nothing too much. Funny. Awkwafina as Peik Lin and the whole Goh family was a HIGHLIGHT of the film. Henry Golding is beautiful and Constance Wu is perfect too. Very funny. Loved the distinguishing between Asian and Asian-American and old versus new money.

I loved this movie and the chance to see asian actors and characters on the big screen at last! (Especially Constance Wu) It was funny, emotional, shocking, and fun to watch, even if some parts were a little over the top and ridiculous. Would definitely watch it again.

Great movie. It felt like a traditional rom-com with a lot of modern elements. I read the book series, so there were a few changes and characters I was expecting to see, but overall I was very happy with how the movie turned out.

Simple story, but stunning visuals. Interesting to see this relationship from the perspective of the Singapore culture
