it was funny but crude

Great if you love tons of prison rape jokes. Not so good if you have a grown up sense of humour.

Not one of will Ferrell's best, but still a fairly good escape comedy. too much reliance on swear words, etc, but after a while it gets tired. Kevin Hart does a very good job playing his role.I'd give it 2 stars

Mildly entertaining. The weak script is made up for by the performances & manic force of personality of Ferrell & Hart. Neither just stupid & fun, nor funny with something to say. Muddled comedic goals leave this movie fairly rudderless. I wasn't bored but I left forgetting the movie entirely.
