Really good

Detroit was an unsettling portrayal of historical events during perilous times in 1967 Detroit. The movie will anger some and evoke empathy in others, but all will see a parallel to current events in 2017 America.

incredible filmmaking

This film is powerful. Shedding light on Detroit and you can't help but think of similarities in our modern society. It made me angry, sad, disgusted and heartbroken. I had no word leaving the theater, just felt somber. The way they filmed it made you feel like you were walking next to all of this. This was a fantastic movie but a heartbreaking real story.
