The movie really appeals to kids. My boys loved it. I didn't enjoy it as much. Good for fans of the book. The coordination of that event could have been better as well.

It had a good moral story behind - friendships and not being mean

It has some grown up sense of humor in it. I feel it will cause kids that make fun of other kids to continue doing it thinking it would be funny. The friendship of the main 2 characters was good but having them run to one another with a surrounding of flowers had my eye brows knitting.

Movie is definitely for children.
