The background story regarding the creation of the "Alien" was entertaining. I also felt I had seen this movie before with a character named Newt.

I loved the movie and will be willing to see it again. The "creation" story puts everything together and kind of makes up for Prometheus.

I thought it was very good, except the ending was kind of expected. but still enjoyed it.

the film was integral to understanding the role of David in the genesis of the Alien in the Sigourney Weaver movies. while the writing was not superb, the movie told the story of what happened after Prometheus and before the original Alien movie. the question of whether it was scary enough is in question. some who did not like it felt it wasn't scary enough. those that did, did ...
