My son liked it. There were funny moments.

It copied a lot of The Goofy Movie. They go on a long trip, the kid changes the directions to go somewhere else, and their vehicle gets totaled during the trip. The new actors were fairly even with the actors of the other 3 Wimpy Kid movies.

Bad acting and we saw the "jokes" coming 100 miles and hour.
