Acting was amazing, and the story is true to the play

This was thee best movie I have seen in 2016. All the characters were amazing. Denzel and Viola are in the running for some major awards.

While neither of us have seen the play, we both thought it was interesting in that it felt play-like. I really don’t think it strayed away from the original work. No big action scenes or cinematic wonder but the talent was amazingly gripping.
