Good overall. Somewhat slow moving. Sexual content was a little much for the PG -13 rating.

Very well acted, especially Jim Parsons, and had an interesting "twist" (breaking the third wall at the death scene) but still not quite as poignant and emotionally devastating as I thought it would be. It was still very moving, but I thought there needed to be a bit more "depth" to the relationship to really become more emotionally invested. I'm sure the book achieves that, but I felt it was a little bit of a let down. Still dying from cancer is horrific and beyond sad, and you definitely have to be in the right mindframe to watch this. I left the movie feeling a little depressed, but I'm old

Well constructed if somewhat predictable film. But overall an enjoyable picture.

I didn’t feel particularly invested in the characters relationship. I enjoyed the beginning and the getting to know each other but then there were 13 Christmas trees and they were separated. I felt like the relationship between Mike & Marilyn/Bob was better developed than Mike & Kit. \rI did overall enjoy it and would recommend if someone wanted a good cry movie.
