One dimensional, slow, and boring

The movie lack context and substance. The storyline was interesting just vey monotonous. It would have be great to see the women rise together and attack the men of their colonies.

In spite of the talented cast, this movie renders itself completely utterly pointless. I went in wanting an accurate portrayal of life inside a Mennonite Colony, instead I got a total LIE. There is no Mennonite Colony on the planet where women are denied the privilege of learning to Read and Write. That is a staple of Islam, not Christianity. Yes this admits to be fiction, but even when measured from a fictional standpoint it is a poorly written story with Nonstop dialogue meant to arouse emotion, not plot or character development. This is a sorry exploitation of a real-life tragedy.
