It definitely had the good shock value of a horror film, but I didn't sense a real connection between the characters in the band. The location was good. There wasn't really a sense of mystery. It was entertaining, but there wasn't anything that really differentiated it from any other horror movie. The preview they showed though looked different and interesting.

I enjoyed the atmosphere and the strange energy of the movie. I had heard of it through word of mouth from last year's Fantastic Fest so I was looking forward to it. But I was a little unclear about some certain plot points, especially pertaining to the Neo-Nazi skinheads. I had formed a subplot in my mind about them being cannibalistic (the "meat grinder") and taking the bodies to make meat. (?)

Riveting action and shock value -- from a played-out plotline. Fun and easy-to-engage....any intrigue or mystery ended faster than a Ramones tune.
