It moves too fast at points and seems to leave out a lot of the story. filling in those gaps would make the story more compelling. But the cast is great!

I don't think the person playing Aretha was the right person to play her. I don't think she did a good job of presenting who Aretha was and what she was like as a person.

Great portrayal of Aretha's hardships to follow her dreams of being a great singer. She was a strong and forceful young black woman who stood up to her abusive husband to follow her deams.

It ended too abruptly; should of advised of part 4 series sooner; other great too see looks like it gets better. Can't wait to finish watching. Thank you!
