Excellent performances by Moore, page and especially Michael Shannon.

Marriage Equality may seem like a new concept to many in this country, but the fight had slowly evolved over a long period of time and it seemed for a while that for every step forward there would be two steps back. It took many stories of courageous individuals like the women portrayed this one, across the nation, before the tide was slowly turned and justice prevailed.

I thought the story was good but the actors were mismatched. Ellen Page was just too young looking for Julianne Moore. When they showed the actual characters...the age difference didn't seem so unrealistic.

The movie was good, loved the actors, and the tear jerker moments, with that said, it wasn't Oscar worthy.
