This is a wonderful portrayal of the life and work of Marie Curie and the real struggles she endured while being one of the only women in serious science circles of the time. The film portrays her as a real person with flaws but also as a tough and vulnerable survivor who endured and continued to help the world advance with the encouragement of those who loved her.\r\rI especially liked the ties to the positive and negative effects that her work has had on the world since her death that she may or may not have seen coming, but that the audience can now see clearly.

The film was brilliatly done.\rThe contents, which could have been boring, was brought to life, with the amazing personal and heart felt real drama. That being said, the deep personal aspect into the film, made it amazing and quite real.\rThere were so many opposing interactions going on; sexism, to say the least. This amazing woman had to battle with stereotypical and the prudishness dilemma of the times. \rIt was done in such a realistic manner, allowing one to observe, not just science, but every aspect which had to be battled with during this period. I was personally quite moved.\r
