I really enjoyed the portrayal of Harriet. \rI know the novel and thought of Emma as mildly spoiled but the opener of the novel pushed that opinion into distasteful territory. I almost want to hate Emma. \rthe other characters were flat, charactures, little explanation to how they are the way they are. \r\rsomething that bothered me during this specific screening. the screen brightness went up and down with every screen change, and when the scene was static for more than 15 seconds. it's like the auto brightness feature on my smartphone or laptop, or dynamic lightning on my tv.
