It was based on the original movie that I've always loved. Yet I really enjoyed this updated version with my all of my favorite songs sang in different settings and format.\rI laughed and also shed a few tears. Rita Moreno's solo was the highlight of the movie that was the 1st time I got emotional.\rWill recommend to everyone to see it!!

Loved this remake. The actors were great and their singing was really well done. Never a dull moment and very engaging. It was quite long but did not seem like it. I was so engrossed that the time flew by. Great movie definitely recommend to others

Great movie! I love the original but this was so much better. Great casting for all the main roles. Had a great time !

Of course, it is hard to redo a masterpiece, but this was a decent attempt. The music, choreography and acting were great. Maria’s voice was powerful and effortlessly beautiful. I would definitely recommend it for the newer generation who never saw it.
