Really enjoyed the movie!! It highlights the pre-conceived opinions of each other we all have and factor that into how we stereotype people. The two brothers came close after traveling together and seeing the others perspectives. Would highly recommend the movie!

It was a good amount funny mixed with emotional. I enjoyed the movie overall. There were frustrating moments when the crazy brother just seemed too out of control for reality or when the father had just one too many obstacles to overcome to see his first son but then it quickly reeled back in and became believable again. The storyline was good. I became invested in seeing the characters through and liked the ending. Although it was implied at the end that the first son started connecting with his stepson it would have been nice to have seen a little more on this.

Heartfelt and entertaining. A journey worth taking. Especially liked the more dramatic moments of bonding between characters and their relationships. And the adorable goat. Great performance by Luis Gerardo Mendez with good range and a changing arc. Refreshing to see the stereotypes of zip-lining Mexicans and fat Americans both contrasted and ridiculed. Good family movie.
