Cute movie. A little hokie but cute.

More geared toward teenagers than adults

I liked this movie a lot. The entire concept was really interesting. I loved both of the main characters Gardner and Tulsa. There relationship throughout the film was simple and sweet! Gardner really supported Tulsa and let her know that she and her life were worth it. I cried a bit, I laughed a lot and I knew what was going to happen in the end but it didn't bother me I still wanted to keep watching the film. I don't know that I would have paid to see this film in the theater because it's not something that would have attracted my interest from looking at the poster. But I'm glad I expanded out and allowed myself to take in this movie and truly enjoy it!

2.5 stars. The beginning was rushed and the movie did a poor job showing the 2 kids back story and convincing me they would be in love. It also had some goofy parts, especially with the field and plane chase scene. How did NASA and the fireman get to the barn before the helicopter which was right behind the plane? Not only that, but they were late enough that the fireman had already searched the wreckage? The good parts were the young man's acting, the beautiful scenery, and the Mars scenes. It was alao fun to watch them get to know each other better and him learn a bit about the world.
