CODA's plot isn't particularly surprising, but the family depicted in it is warm and feels completely genuine, and the young actress playing Ruby delivers a beautiful performance as a girl reaching out for her own womanhood and identity apart from the family she felt she was protecting, but that was also sheltering her.

It was a heartwarming movie. I got a glimpse of what it's like to be in a family where most of the members cannot hear. The cast were authentic and wonderful.

Such a sweet, funny and inspiring movie. Left me in tears at the end. Loved it!!

Amazing, heartfelt, funny movie. I watched it with my twelve year old. She's a little advanced in things. There was a few inappropriate things. For sure, the PG-13 rating fits! GREAT movie though. A tad slow at first, but good.
