Great to observe a story of a man that stands by his convictions especially when they are based in kindness and he stands with few. The thoughtful character introductions to the family and all the soldiers in the barracks enriched my connection to all characters. The battle scenes were graphic but really opened my eyes to how chaotic battle must be for soldiers.

Loved it, makes me wonder why we were never told of him before.
