I really enjoyed it. It exceeded my expectations

I heard a lot of the book's devotees are up in arms about the movie not remaining true to the source material. I've read a lot of King's books but not this one, so I enjoyed it on its own merit.

There's no need to stutter it is a must see. Pennywise was dancing on hell fire you hear me and he was chomping down on these poor kids fears. I have to admit it wasn't scary But it was diabolical. The back of your neck hair will raise thanks to the affects. When Penny plays peek a boo your skin will crawl with creepiness. This is not funny at all as he grins and his eyes are lit with evil. 4 ballons

Genuinely creepy moments, few jumps, not a bad film overall.Old enough to remember the original airing of the 1990 TV movieand, to me, the original was scarier. Maybe it was Tim Curry?
