Great commentary on our modern dependence of technology and of student debt. Great villains, great humor. A few unbelievable scenarios but I guess that's artistic license. Love story seemed force but still cute. THE OASIS WAS AWESOME. Made me wonder what kind of person would I be if we had an oasis. Would I be in the real world or would I just live in the oasis?

I thought the movie was really good. Acting was okay, but the visuals were good. I loved the music.

Despite some of the changes from the book, the movie was entertaining and stayed true to the main points of the novel. My one complaint would be that the 2 main characters did not look anything like they are described in the books, which was actually quite important to their issues with isolation. Lena, however, was perfectly cast!

This movie is just straight up fun! I loved it. Yes, it had a few cheesy parts in it, but that was to be expected for the type of movie that it is. I felt that the CGI was pretty well done over all, and the 3D effects (since I saw it in IMAX 3D) added to the film itself giving it more depth when they were in the Oasis. I definitely recommend this film. i give it two very enthusiastic thumbs up.
