Better than we expected!!

Great extension of an already great franchise and what I can imagine is the beginning of another trilogy. Compelling storyline and powerful actors. Reminded me of how the old Marvel movies used to mix in comedy without ruining the tension in the movie

SO GOOD. The story is compelling and moves quickly. There's a lot of worldbuilding that is not infodumped but hidden in plain sight, so it rewards the attentive viewer. The music score and various scenes have a lot of callbacks to the original series in a tasteful way. This film leaves you wanting for more, in a very good way. See it in theaters!

"Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes" offers a refreshing story. While I would have appreciated more direct continuity with earlier films, the introduction of a new storyline offers a breath of fresh air. The visuals are truly stunning. You can see a lot of effort and attention to detail in the movie's effects. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie.
