It's visually stunning. I loved the rich colors, the beautiful sets, and the acting. The story seemed to veer off course towards the end. I loved the Djinn's story telling but after his story ended it felt like the movie ended. There should have been more. I would give it 3 1/2 stars.

A unique and thought provoking movie.

This is an alternate take on the "3 wishes" cautionary tale. Instead of following a typical "Monkey's Paw" pattern, the focus turns to the jinn instead. The film has an Arabian Nights feel to it, structured like a story-within-a-story. Parts of the plot get a little muddied, but the performances and costume designs are compelling and carry the story forward, leaving a memorable impression long after the ending.
