It was a nerve-racking, intense and great movie. I loved the multiple one shot takes.

cinematography is stunning! Movie is slow at some parts, but very well directed. Dicaprio is terrific!

A story of vengeance at a time when it was man against the elements. Horrific was the bear attack scene I couldn't believe if that happened at the beginning of this film what was to await us. LDC did a commendable job of acting there's no way any of us could have withstood this story with all the luxuries of even a simple life we've come to take for granted.
