I liked how it was set in the 80s and how racism was really bad. I like the story of the Pakistan family, their cultures & traditions portrayed, how the children are expected to obey and live for their parents not for themselves. It shows that if you live in America, you should learn how to acclimate in the American culture and that cultures that come here should be open to the people and culture.

Love the message it sends and how good music can bring you out of a dark place! Awesome feel good movie with great ending!
