About as much fun as a corporately produced, made-for-China blockbuster can be. Statham and The Meg challenge each other as the two beefiest participants of the summer movie season! Warner Brothers did miss their chance to make a sneak Aquaman prequel though - que sera sera.

This was a fun movie with a couple soft jump-scares, nothing major. You can definitely take the young kids to see this one.

This is a fun monster movie. If you need more prehistoric creatures after seeing Jurassic Park, this is the show to see. Jason Statham plays a new role as a sensitive guy who just wants to save people (although he does have a knock-down, drag-out fight with the Meg.)

I thought it was ok, action sequences were done well, so long with CGI. The problem is that when you peel back all the action, it is just another Jaws being retold in another form. Nothing new to see here.
