Very good

I really liked it. The filming was great and seemed authentic to the times. I liked the non-religious approach to the subject. I thought the character of Jesus seemed authentic to His teachings. While not fully biblical I thought it was an honest account of how it might have been. The last scenes with Jesus seemed contrived to bring that portion to an end. I thought the character of the main Roman in the film was well done. I enjoyed the humor. The Sanhedren were accurately idiots.

Dramatic start, violence, high energy, fast moving. After 1st 15 minutes settled down and various characters began to develop. Interesting plot and certainly not your run of the mill religious movies about Christ.My friend and I were both enjoyed the plot and thought several of the actors did a great job. We would recommend this movie to our friends. All we will at dinner tonight.

"Risen" was depicted in a true to life format. The scenery looked very authentic, and the characters were top-notch. Watching the crucifixion from the tribune's point of view was unique and gave us a different perspective. I heartily recommend this movie to my family and friends and hope they get to see it during the lent season.
