I loved the film. It’s my favorite Broadway musical so I’m clearly biased, but I really appreciate how it’s been adapted for cinema. The visuals were fantastic. The story was great, and I loved how they beefed that up even more. It felt relevant and fresh and improved even. The cast did a wonderful job of telling their characters’ stories!

For a first time introduction to the musical, I loved the representation, the theatrics, and most importantly, the reminiscence of my neighborhood. Lin-Manuel Miranda is a pure genius and I will always love his work and contributions. I would definitely watch it again in a heartbeat.
