Fun ending and premise. TERRIBLE execution of the story. The writing was awful, everything was overacted, and it seemed overblown.I would make the dialogue resemble real life a little bit more. I don’t need it to be hyper realistic, but I need more dynamic characters that I actually see as humans not caricatures. If the ending wasn’t SO satisfying the movie would have been just flat out terrible.

The movie had a good storyline or message. However the movie came off corny to me.

The overtone of this movie largely pointed to an overseas white writer with no familiarity with the true strains tied to being a black person in America. It was cliche and superficial. It was pieced together from a third party perspective of the black plight and ongoing struggles with law enforcement. I hoped there would be a more meaningful dialogue that could come out of this movie but sadly, that was not the case. This movie is a prime example of the lack of diverse writers.
