One of PTA's best. Just below There Will Be Blood and Magnolia for me. Daniel Day Lewis plays yet another complex character convincingly. Only gripe would be the main female protagonist was less fleshed out. Other wise top notch including the costume and set design.

Slow paced but worth the watch

Unusual. The plot line got got very interesting toward the end. Then, there's a big surprise, then another. I left the movie afterward, thinking that was one of the most unusual movies that I've seen for a long time. Charming. You never know what's going to happen.
