A very engaging film with insightful commentary on waves of feminism and interpersonal dynamics shaping academia and work culture. The score and close-ups of hands were beautifully done. Alma’s performance stood out, though Andrew Garfield was also excellent. The film explored the double-edged sword of identity politics without moralizing and addressed sexual assault with care. It deserves a higher rating, perhaps its Rotten Tomatoes score reflects the same patriarchal bias the film critiques.
