I wasn't a big fan of the original but I seemed to like this one better. Perhaps it was because my appropriately aged nieces are all hockey players and I think they'd get a kick out of this movie. Writing their mom right after this. There's almost too many emotions for the characters to all get used well. And Joy seems to be the least interesting one despite being the center of it all.

It was colorful with well thought out characters as emotions. Loud (a baby was crying), fast dizzying motion. Mature emotional themes. Funny, lovable characters, and you want to keep cheering on Riley.

It was very entertaining. It let you know that we are all human and that sometimes we make mistakes
