I thought that saving the world by sacrificing a life might have some merit, but I don't the approach in this movie was correct. There are too many mentally ill people and other distributed individuals who believe that they are chosen to save the country, their friends or even the world at any cost. Why make a movie about four deranged person who have that belief.

This movie was okay.. a slow burn without much of a hard burn at the end. Feel not much really happened and the ending was pretty obvious midway through the movie. The acting was decent. Just too slow and boring.. wish they took the story line further.

Personally Knock at the Cabin felt like a spiritual successor to Signs, but tonally more akin to Old. This might be David Bautista's best role yet, from his opening scene to his final words, just delivered with so much sincerity. Aldridge also delivers a strong performance, as does Groff, but I feel Groff is a bit underutilized.
