Great music! Fun learning the story of the record label's start!

Spinning Gold focuses on the founder of Casablanca Records---the biggest Independent Record Label who had big hits from Donna Summer, Isley Brothers, Kiss etc. The whole 2 hours and 17 minutes was a fantastic and fun ride with not a dull moment. \r\rFrom the rise of Neil Bogart from growing up in Brooklyn Projects to many different stints to claw to the top on this interesting rise to success.

The movie starts off a little cartoonish, but eventually makes it's point and does a good job of it.

It was informative. Interesting to be able to learn the history of a person and record label. Funny parts to lighten the mood, sad parts to make you think.
