So very funny! Loved the cultural jokes and stereotyping (good and bad, regardless they made it fairly clean and good humor). It was also pretty scary, and not too dumb like I thought it might have been! Great movie.

The Blackening was EVERYTHING!! The very real satirical stereotypical comedy had me falling out of my seat in fits of laughter! Black people are amazing and there were a lot of “If You Know You Know” elements that made the movie even more special. I’m telling all my Black friends specifically that this movie is for us!! Excited for Juneteenth weekend! Go see it!

Funny and on point on how African Americans react to fear/scary situations!! Loved it!

I wanted to laugh and I did! All through the film and even at the end! It was funny!
