I was so excited to see this. I have to say I was really disappointed. The secondary plot with the kid was unnecessary. It did not add anything to the movie if anything it hurt the movie. Also the ending was anticlimactic. It should have ended as a face off between Michael and Laurie and they both should have died.

The best part was how the child dies… it was unexpected. Besides that it wasn’t really that good.

If you’re a fan of the original Halloween films, this movie may leave you in a sour mood. The production of the film was great, however, the writing was disappointing. \r\rA few scenes will make you jump and drop your jaw but that’s the extent of how good this film is. By the way, the focus on Michael is very minimal. It seemed as though they were trying to introduce a new main character.

It really wasn’t what I expected. I thought it would show more of Michael than the new character that went from being a good person to a bad person.
