Fell asleep a bit in the middle...

Good family entertainment.

Phantasmagoric. Elements from other characters in movies screened as Captain Hook ( Garret Hedlund) reminded you of Hans Solo and Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford), Princess Tiger Liy (Rooney Mara) reminded you of Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) and Tauriel (Evangeline Lilly) and Blackbeard (Hugh Jackman who was unrecognizable by the way ) reminded somewhat of Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp). Enjoyable.

The movie was alright - it didn't have nearly the same magical feeling that Robin Williams in Hook provided. I found the script lacking and the world was rather plain. Garrett Hedlund's acting was over the top - he was like an even cheesier version of Indiana Jones. I didn't understand why the Pirates were singing Nirvana. There was just a lot of this movie that felt out of place. Hook is still #1
