Golden Globe &Oscar; worthy performance by Benedict Cumberbatch

Excellent movie. Will recommend to everyone. It was a powerful movie about accomplishments and acceptance.

Cumberbatch is outstanding as the brilliant and tortured Alan Turing. A beautifully shot and costumed period piece, The Imitation Game brings to life the cerebral drama of code-breaking in World War II, particularly of the German's constantly mutating Enigma code. Occasionally funny and ultimately tragic, the movie shows how Turing became the man he did and his development of the computer.
