A very well made film with a beautiful story. However, the chemistry between Keda & Alpha falls short of what could have been expected.

The opening scenes were really dramatic and exciting. Then the movie got particularly long and drawn out. The subtitles made it difficult to watch and pay attention. It would have been more enjoyable if the dialogue was in a language that didn't need the subtitles. It would be difficult for anyone with difficulty in reading to follow the movie. The cinematography was beautiful, and the story was well-portrayed, it was just hard to watch in that format,

It was enjoyable in some ways, but I was distracted by how beautiful everyone's teeth were. I originally thought kids would like it, but I don't think my kids would have been able to read the subtitles fast enough and would have gotten bored with the pace of the movie. I hate not being super enthusiastic. Sorry.

I thought it had a good story about how a man survives hardships and how two species interact. I was not impressed with the costumes for the period. It could have had more action. I liked it but as a movie goer I think it will go to DVD quickly as I don't think it will make enough money to stay in theaters long.
