It was somewhat interesting, and reminded me of Pete Townshend of The Who rock band, who partially lost his hearing from playing loud music. I thought the deaf school the actor was sent to seemed very constricting, like a jail, to take his phone and vehicle keys away. Is that realistic? The open ending made me wonder what next in his and girlfriend's life, since the hearing implant didn't seem to work as perfectly as he expected. Well-acted.

Well shot film with amazing sound editing and lighting, but like most independent films it has no idea what it want's to be. Is it about one man's downward spiral and later recovery, or what it's like to have a handicap. Then the whole deaf agenda is about as bad as the transgenders, and Christian conservatives, they're hiding behind civil rights for the sake of EXCLUSIVITY. I'm not a reactionary nor a bleeding heart, but when a film maker wants to make a message, FOR CHRIST SAKE BE CLEAR ABOUT IT! DON'T JUST GIVE ME "LIFE SUCKS, AND THEN YA DIE!", CAUSE THAT ROAD'S GOT ENOUGH FOOTSTEPS!

-CC/Subtitle was too small for me to read it. \r-The ending wasn't clear. Left his girlfriend's flat and sat outside to find his peace with stillness. I was hoping for the positive outcomes, such as finding a new life with his new community or whatever it is. \r-CC for deaf inpatient recovery program could have carried more dialogues without no CC... Context...
