Without a doubt the best of the DCEU films, it's with wonder woman.

This film is tonally uneven with some clunky dialogue. That having been said, the special effects were the best from any film out of Warner Bros. and some sequences were very entertaining. Sometimes the film was unintentionally comedic because it took itself too seriously, especially with some of the costumes.

Overall movie was fun and well shot, but also pretty silly. Too much self-serious talk about prophecy and weird laws. Mera character was ill-defined. Villains were not impactful. Tried dealing with pollution/surface issues but forgot about them for bland family drama. Momoa is great. Great action besides the "ring of fire" which had rough CGI as did the de-aging in flashbacksNeeded more puppies.

Jason Mamoa, Patrick Wilson and Amber Heard were entertaining, but Black Manta and the cliched plot slowed things down.
