hard to follow at times since there was no way to follow what was being signed at times. no real explanation why ruben was expelled from the deaf community because of the implants. why is there such discrimination within the deaf community for someone who does this. not enough shown as to the relationship between ruben and lu.

The movie was too long and slow. The ending was not satisfying at all.

Its rather dark and a bit disturbing for the lifestyle they led. But it had a good message that sometimes, what we are given may seem like a curse but may be a gift if used well.
