3 stars. Had moments that were romantic and sweet. The chemistry between Asa Butterfield and Britt Robertson help make the movie appealing.

overall i enjoyed it, a romantic teenage movie, sort of like an inverse version of the martian. a little cheesy with the dialogue and predictable, but an okay movie. it will probably appeal to teenage girls whowant an alternative to star wars

Plot concept was a great idea. Directing and camera were not the best, and the science and believability were terribly off. Good choice on actors.

It was pretty good. Gardner and Tulsa were good characters with a fun chemistry. His awkwardness on Earth was entertaining. Had a good consistent pace for a movie that clocked in at 2 hours. I felt the camping scene in the sleeping bags where they were clearly undressed was unnecessary. I had my 13 and 15 year old boys with me and there was considerable snickering through that scene. Overall, an interesting premise.
