It just wasnt what i expected....nic cage has done better

This movie was Nicolas Cage playing Nicolas Cage in a movie within a movie. The story was corny and goofy. I'm quite surprised that Nicolas Cage did this movie.

there’s something irritating about a smug “meta” comedy making jokes and references about what it considers elevated cinema while being decidedly workman like and uninspired. there’s actually a pretty solid script here, the movie would have honestly been alright if it wasn’t directed by a mcdonald’s cashier and edited by a bird.
