Would only recommend due to the utilization of deaf culture and sign language; but the story line was extremely weak.\rCould have explored more of the deaf culture and the stigmas against the deaf community, and how the deaf culture is integrated into society. This was a depiction of them isolated from society, portraying it as a stigma/handicap.\r\rCONS- story was TOO LONG. No rising/falling action, no climax or even an explanation of his relationship with music or his "girlfriend," post-surgery...nothing happened. Movie should have been 1.5 hours max. Made for TV, not the big screen.\r\r

I didn’t see the ending because my screen locked up. I would give it more stars if I saw the last 10 minutes of the movie. I can’t recommend without seeing the ending.

Riz ahmed was great but I found the pacing to slow for my taste

The beginning threw me off with the terrible music. It made me wish I was deaf. After that it was slow paced but I enjoyed the interaction he had with the other deaf individuals at rehab.
